The Concord Band Holiday Pops with Jerry Seeco
CONCORD, MA Celebrate the season in Big Band style at the
Concord Band's annual Holiday Pops concerts, to be held at 51 Walden St.,
Concord on Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th at 8pm.
The snow date for both nights is Sunday, December 10th at 2pm. The
cabaret-style concerts will feature both traditional and original holiday
music.
Boston's own Jerry Seeco will perform with the Concord Band and lead
the audience holiday sing-along. Jerry is an incredibly prolific
musician vocalist, arranger, teacher and performer on trumpet,
flugelhorn and flute and alto flute. He has taught at Berklee for more
than 20 years and appears regularly with the Paradise Big Band in Key
West, the Worcester Jazz Orchestra and the Tito Puente Tribute Band.
He has performed with Aretha Franklin, Neil Sedaka, Wayne Newton, Della
Reese, Leslie Gore and many more. He has shared jazz stages with such
artists as Arturo Sandoval, Chick Corea, Jon Faddis, Bobby Shew, Gary
Burton and Jacki Bayrd. The Band is truly delighted to include some of
Jerry's newest arrangements on this year's program, and to spotlight his
artistry as both an instrumental and vocal soloist.
The Concord Band Holiday Pops is a tradition in Concord and sells out
early. Table seating is available at $20 per person, $15 for children
under 12. Ticket prices includes beverages and snacks. For
