Concord Band to Perform 25th Summer Season at the Fruitland Museum
Concord, Mass, May 1, 2010 —
The Concord Band is celebrating a Silver Anniversary.
For 25 years, fans have enjoyed sunset picnics, spectacular views, and the
sounds of a 65 piece, symphonic wind ensemble on the grounds of the
Fruitlands Museum, located at 102 Prospect Hill Road in Harvard.
The tradition continues on Wednesday evenings, beginning June 23 through
The Concord Band will begin playing at 7:15 PM, with gates opening at
6:00 PM for those who wish to picnic.
Fruitlands is handicapped accessible and family friendly.
This summer's weekly concert themes include:
- "A Solstice Celebration" (June 23)
- "Concord Band’s Silver Anniversary at Fruitlands"
(free concert on June 30)
- "A Program of Patriotic Music" (July7)
- "On Broadway"(July14)
- "Take Flight: Moon Landing Anniversary"(July 21)
- "Summer Retrospective"(July 28)
