Pops for the Playground

Concord, Mass, February 10, 2017 — The Rotary Club of Concord invites you to its 42nd Annual Pops Night featuring renowned vocalist/trumpet jazz artist Christine Fawson and the Concord Band on April 7, 2017 at 8 p.m. at The Performing Arts Center, 51 Walden Street in Concord. The doors open at 7:00 p.m. for you to enjoy refreshments, browse the silent auction and find your seat. The pops-style table seating offers you a chance to unwind and visit with friends. Tickets at $25 each may be purchased by calling Dick Hale at 978-394-5158 or using the order form on the Rotary website, rotaryclubofconcord.org. All seats are reserved so do call before coming. Net proceeds will benefit the new Concord Integrated Preschool Playground.

Rotary is enthusiastic about supporting the Integrated Playground. The Playground, located at the Ripley Building, will give children with diverse abilities an opportunity to enjoy developmentally appropriate outdoor play equipment in an inclusive setting. Even if you are unable to attend the concert, you can help Concord become a more open community for these children by purchasing an ad in the POPS concert program book or contributing an item to the silent auction. The ad book is widely distributed throughout the year to area businesses and individuals. To place an ad, please visit rotaryclubofconcord.org and click on POPS in the menu at the top, then select the order form. To donate to the silent auction, select the auction donation form.

Come along, enjoy great music and help a great cause. Reserve your place with Dick Hale, 978-394-5158 or visit Rotary's website, rotaryclubofconcord.org.

If you are not able to attend the Pops Friday night, the Concord Band will repeat the concert on Saturday, April 8 at 8 p.m. at The Performing Arts Center, 51 Walden St. Concord. Tickets may be obtained by calling 978-897-9969. Visit concordband.org for details.
